I have landed the Marketing job at our firm, but am completely clueless to how it works!! Any marketing managers out there who can recommend good literature, (on a tight budget...so no seminars or courses). My boss is aware of this before you award me 'Blaggard' of the month award. But it's a good opportunity and I would like to make it work. Any insights advice etc would be really appreciated. ;-) PS Sorry about the section...but where would you post a question like this???
My advice would be (from experience)is to have at least 5 marketing plans.Most of them will fail so don't try them one at a time go for the lot. we mailshot, e-mail,advertise,incentivise staff and customers with a referral scheme,get a decent sales management like Goldmine monitor the leads and conversion rates
