I'm wanting to buy some scratch cards to pop into birthday cards and wondered if any of you know if there are some cards where you have a better chance of winning than others. Hope someone can help.
I think that if you visit the national lottery website you can find out which scratch cards have major prizes still to be won and how many there are left, though I think that information may also be available on teletext.
The odds of winning on each and every card is written on the back of the card - but often you have to buy the card before you get your hands on it to really read it.
I believe the national lottery website is quite informative and might tell you all this quite quickly - but you might find there is a certain card you like and then they will not sell this in your local. So i would take note of a few just incase to cover you as the cards seem to come in and out of stock in most stores so you can never predict what they will sell on any day.
I used to look on teletext a few years ago they would show how many of the prizes had been claimed for each card and so that may give you a good chance!
