Today marks the 300th anniverasy (27 May) on Sameul Pepys death. He is most famous for the great dairy of daily life he wrote back in the 17th Century. My question is however have many people read his dairy ... If so what do you think of the man himself. And second do you belive his belive he is still appriated for what he did and why did the British recognise him in some way? For more information about Pepys Contact www.pepysdiary.com (actual written about of his diary)
I have read the shortened versions of it, but never the full one. My opinion of him is that he was a nasty minded petty, vindictive ambitious backstabbing penpusher.
