Evening dress

It may seem a bit early to some of you, but im looking for a nice evening dress for my christmas work do. i dont want anything too fancy, but it needds to be quite smart as its a bit of a posh hotel that were going to for a meal then disco. i've had a quick look in debenhams but some sem a bit OTT for what im looking for. any ideas where else i could look. all ideas appreciated!

Try Coast, or if thats not the type your looking for, Warehouse always have lovely dresses coming up to Christmas - the think is with places like that, theres always the chance of someone else having the same on, as its high street!

Perhaps try smaller boutiques around your town, little gems no-one know about!

There is a gorgeous deep emerald evening dress in Wallis at the moment, it is fitted round the bust then falls away on tne bias so it would be flattering for all shapes and sizes. It's only 50 quid but looks a lot more. I haven't bought it because I have a paler green one I bought from Kaliko earlier this year for 110 pounds - gutted!
(Am using hubby's lap top which doesn't have a pound sign!)

in the latest Matalan catalogue there are some really smart 'little black dresses' which are worth a look - have fun!

Warehouse is a must for dresses - they have some really beautiful ones in stock at the mo. Some are pricey but they are a style which you could easily wear again
