Crete - b4 you jump on your high horse read the posts. The thread title and the content of the question made it clear what it was about so why read it - and indeed leave 2 posts?? I don't open anything that might be offensive to me (porn etc) so why did you if you thought it was bad taste?? We are also not coming out in favour of the jokes, far from it, but as Iankeela pointed out - he is now on the mend so the jokes are irrelevant now anyway. Calm down and take the thread for what it was meant to be...

The people who make these jokes up have something wrong with them, especially when they're about people who have died, e.g. Diana, Steve Irwin.

I can't validate this, but my daughter was told by her English teacher at school that the mobile phone companies pay university students to come up with sick jokes whenever there is some newsworthy item, as you can imagine there would be a considerable increase in the volume of text messages doing the rounds whilst these jokes are circulating so I can see why this 'rumour/truth' has been aired. Has anybody else heard of this claim at all?

He may not get better, with brain injuries there is a two week period, before things like bleeding in the brain etc.

I really don't find jokes like that funny, only when the guy himself starts making jokes about himself will be funny.

What I find interesting is that people who complain about the joke being inappropriate actually makes the joke better and more likely to be shared.

joke = not to be taken seriously.

If I make a joke about fat people and you happen to be fat and offended.. Let me know so I can stop telling fat jokes.
