Why not get married in Ireland, it would be much easier for us lot to attend, oh me thinks I know where you are coming from, ha ha.
Good luck mnko wherever you decide, and if you do go for the US just remember to bring the correct documentation (birth certificates) as my sister was due to get married in San Diego but her husband-to-be didn't bring his certificate with so it had to be postponed.

One of my best mates got married over there, her wedding video is the funniest thing I have EVER seen. They highly highly recommend it to anyone who has family problems and planning a wedding here seems too daunting/problematic. The treatment they got on the Virgin flight over was amazing too.
I went to Vegas last year and saw lots of weddings, it is really surreal seeing brides sat round a roulette table/dancing about in Cayote Ugly/on rollercoasters/shopping in the M&M's shop!! Bizzare.
As long as you and soon to be Mrs Mnko are both happy it really dosn't matter where you get married.
I know they have just changed the laws in Vegas, you can't get married 24-7 now in a bid to prevent people doing a Britney/Ross & Rachel!
CONGRATULATIONS.
