I live in Suffolk. Perhaps the most important thing to say about jobs in East Anglia is that pay rates are often considerably lower than around London. (You'll need to remember that when working out what level of mortgage you can afford). For example, I know that some warehouses around Heathrow offer work at around 12 to 18 per hour whereas the same type of job will only pay around 6 to 8 per hour here. Many basic retail jobs (e.g. in supermarkets or DIY stores) only pay 5.35 to 6 per hour. As long as you can live on that sort of pay, it shouldn't be too difficult to get a job.
The principal newspaper for jobs in East Suffolk is the East Anglian Daily Times. They publish a weekly jobs supplement each Wednesday. (This also appears in Wednesday's Evening Star). Toward the north of Suffolk (and into Norfolk), you need to consult the Eastern Daily Press. (See the link provided by Redcrx).
