Could somebody help me on answerbank of a great uncle who died 1916 in France,what battle and possible injuries.Is there any websites to do with this battle that would help me.

Won't help with injuries etc but will say where the grave is, or if there is no known grave on which memorial their name is engraved.

If you know his battalion and can get to the Public Records Office in Kew you will be able to read the War Diary of the batallion at that time. This will give you some inshight into his wherabouts, actions and conditions. Names of non-commissioned ranks are only recorded if they were recommended for a decoration or 'mentioned in despatches.' These diaries are fascinating documents, written by hand in indelible pencil. Some I have seen even have stains where they were written in a rainfall in the trenches. Good luck.
