When taking my two younger grandchildren back to their house, my oldest granddaughter opened the door, flung her arms around me with the words " love you soooo much, Gran!" and just gave me the longest lingering hug. She is a beautiful 13 year old and loves to tell her friends she has such a "cool gran". Lights up my heart every time!!! :o)
Babysat my 22 month old niece...
I let her do what she wants to me, so she had me sitting in her car seat in the middle of the living room (little bit of a tight squeeze!), with her little socks hanging from my ears, her wellies on my toes, singing Twinkle, Twinkle and eating Nice biscuits!
Well, it made me forget about my troubles for a bit anyway!
Ooh, and my ex sent me flowers (that was yesterday, but I don't ever get them, so I thought I'd share... :o)) x
