Apparently to be a hippie all you need is long hair.
I have long hair and people assume I'm either a heavy metal fan or a hippie.
I'm neither.

Drum and Bass!! Hippies are crusty looking people with dreads who live in fields,toke it up, and drop copious amounts of pills, well, thats what they were like in my uni.

Peace and love and all that. there are no hippies today. It was not just getting stoned and loud clothes and music it was a whole peace movement in reaction to the BOMB and Vietnam.
