Can any of you recommend any hotels in Paris or Barcelona please?

Can any of you recommend any hotels in Paris or Barcelona please? I've never been to either destination but I fancy a trip sometime in the new year and there are usually some cheap flights from Cardiff to Paris, Barcelona, Amsterdam or Prague. 3 star hotels and maybe 4 star

We stayed at the EXPO HOTEL in barcelona in march,right next to the main railway station,dont worry no noise at all,it was great for all the buses to go everywhere and very good price wise too.

My girlfirend went to Barcelona in October. We stayed in Hotel Le Cram. A designer boutique hotel about 10 mins walk from the top of La Ramblas. It's 4* and worked out at �100 per night. Flat screen tele's and very modern in the room. If you go to Barcelona try to avoid staying near La Rambla, it'll be noisy at night.
Barcelona is a great city, plenty to do and reasonably cheap.

I stayed in a really good reasonable one think it was called Millenium something like that it was on Octopustravel.com and was quite cheap and really good value wasnt too far from anything but we cab it everywhere I would stay there again it was 3* i think
