Robert Miles wrote and charted with a song called 'Children' in 1996. It was a predominantly piano tune
Could be wrong but Q1 might be Joe Bonaparte, however I could only find a synopsis for the original 1939 version of the film (itself based on a stage play). This has Joe as a violinist who wants - initially - to become a boxer. I suppose the remake could have made him a singer. However, the running time appears to be 2 hours, and expecting people to know about a West German TV movie seems a little tough!

Thanks all. DirtyEgg, I found Medoff as the author of the play, but is he the author of the novel as well?
