I'm off to NZ. Just how useless or not are my TV, Vid, DVD, Answerphone, Iron etc. I've had my DVD player chipped so thats coming with me. As far as I'm aware Its still 240 Volts and maybe an adaptor...Or can I just rewire a NZ plug onto things. Anyone know out there in Answerbank Land?

Just asked the electrician here. Apparently, if you're sure it's 240V then it's safer to change the plugs than use adaptors. He does recommend checking the colours of the wires are the same as well.
