Hi Kim
Visitor Survey Research
Latest research from Cumbria Tourism has revealed an increase in families, longer stays, and that web bookings have tripled in the last four years. Newly-released results from the 2006 Cumbria Visitor Survey show that 31% actually booked their break on the Internet, and a third (33%) searched online for information before they came.
Copies of the survey are available for 30.00 by calling Christine McVeigh on 015398 25003 or by clicking here for an order form. It includes visit and visitor profiles, previous visits, party size, decision-making, length of stay, accommodation type, expenditure, satisfaction, transport, activities, motivations, information, booking methods, and future visits.
Perhaps Keswick Library has a copy and could supply you with the info?
