question is why dont shops put in a area where bored husbands can sit and wait and read old copies of readers digest whilst having a pint , after all they have creches for the brats what about us its not fair.
i drew the line at pound land though

that's a good idea-I always think shopping -and shops-would be FAR more bearable if it wasn't for all the aimless men shuffling around! Frankly I can never understand how any women can shop with her husband in tow....boyfriends are different. thats an entirely different relationship!
Hey Dilfy ;-)

If they done that....I'd be hanging round the bored husbands corner looking for you!!!! :-)
In all seriousness, shops are really missing a trick here. If only they would put in a few more comfy 'husband' chairs, magazines, a TV, or even a couple of games consoles, we'd happily stay there for however many hours the wife wanted to, which would surely be much better for business.
As it is, we tend to lose the will to live after about half an hour in the same shop, and sullenly wander back out into the street, forcing the wife to follow.
Ludwig.....you are a patient man. I lose the will to live two minutes after I have walked into the shop. I hate shopping and I hate shoppers.

And I'm a girl....
