Bedtime Teaser!

A quick teaser before bedtime!...
If you plug in an iron and it doesn't heat up, do you..

a) curse and blast
b) threaten to take it back, as it is clearly faulty and still under warranty
c) check you turned the plug switch 'on'!

Just had my girls in hysterics at my antics as I had been ironing, turned it off and remembered something else I needed doing. I was in a real tizz,..it had been working earlier...just wasn't getting hot,...workmanship these days..etc etc ...turned round to unplug it and give up to see the switch still 'off'!

Good job I've left the bathroom to Reg!..just wondering, if when he was connecting my jacuzzi bath up, did he interfere with it????

I can well understand what poor Reg has to contend with ... after working in an office with several laydees for many years, I eventually learnt it was impossible to win an argument or have the last word ... having said that I wouldn't have changed it for the world!!

I don't use one very often Pauline, if it needs to be ironed I don't buy it or if I love it too much not to, then it goes to the cleaners.

I would say A because that is what I do everytime I look at the pile of ironing that I have mouldering in the basket ..I'm sure there is stuff in it from last summer . I hate ironing ! I'm not altogether sure where I keep the ironing board or the iron !
It could possibly be that thing with a blue cover ,under the stairs ....Ho hum !

I can sympathise with you totally sarumite, having worked predominantly with women for over 20 years I soon learned just to go along with whatever they want, when working in an office full of women, we are definitely the weaker sex.

Kettledrum..Reg says he never takes a break!..I have pics taken before and after..will post WHEN he has finished!
They delivered only part of the sink, the rest is coming Tuesday, so he's getting on tiling!
Just thinking...could hire him out on AB couldn't I?...could make a fortune!!!
He loves it though. Joiner by trade, but can turn his hand to anything, and a great guy also...but I'll keep that quiet to keep him on his toes!!!!
