Drayton Manor OR Alton Towers?

Group of 20 somethings after a 'thrilling' day out on some fast rides... where do we go?
Never been to either but both are close.
Which is the best??
When is the best time to go?
Any other suggestions?

Alton Towers way better! Maybe thats because i lived my Drayton Manor - DM does have some pretty cool rides but i do think Alton Towers have better ones!

Alton Towers, definitely! Drayton Manor is rubbish.

As Lore said, try and go mid-week and avoid weekends, Bank Holidays and Summer Holidays like the plague!

Hi splish, just to confirm that, I LOVE A.T. I haven't been for ages, and I miss it so much! I saw a friend's photos of when she went recently, and it brought so many memories flooding back!

Definitely go mid-week in term time, it's like the park is yours exclusively!!
