Problems posting questions

Has anybody else had a problem posting a question? I can't post questions (I am writing this on hubbie's laptop pc), but I can answer them. I have tried clearing my internet files, running SpyBot and virus check, but no joy. I have even tried setting up a new user name, but that doesn't work either.

Now it has posted the flaming thing twice!! I had a check through old questions, Pop-up stoppers seem to have caused problems in the past - I haven't downloaded one, at least not that I'm aware of!

I have also tried AbEd but he/she's not replying....

Aha - I've solved me own problem..... I remembered that last Saturday I started getting funny beeps on this site, so I restored my settings to last Friday, and hey presto, no beeps and I can post questions again. My chief suspect is my McAfee virus checker, I think it updated itself around that time and then the problems started. I just need to figure out a way of stopping it happening again now....
