Paparazzi photos of prison lorries

On the news you always see photographers trying to take pictures of suspects through the tinted glass of the prison vans as they arrive at court, so why do you never see these photographs printed in the newspapers? If they just don't come out, why do they bother in the first place?

One of them did come out, and it was quite famous, although not famous enough for me to remember who it was. I think it might have been Lord Archer or someone equally famous and the photo was everywhere at the time. I suppose the photographers are trying their luck and hoping that it comes off.

I have seen loads and loads and loads and loads of such photographs on loads and loads and loads of occasions, and I am completely at a loss to understand why you might think that they are never published.

Skelly i remember that one - wasn't it the man who murdered sarah payne? Kitty i understand wha you mean tho, you don't see a picture every time of a person in the van invariable because they don't come out - often the photographer will hold up the camera in the hope of getting the shot but the angle might be wrong or the person is in a different section.
