Hi sft42. Just wanted to say that, based on an earlier thread where you mentioned the book 'Cocaine' by Dominic Streatfeild, I bought the book and am enthralled. Any other recommendations ?? On any topic ...

As to other recommendations (if you're interested) I've just finished 'The Tao of Pooh and The Te of Piglet' by Benjamin Hoff and I found it seriously life changing - it has me (very irritatingly) saying things like "Now that I'm a Taoist..." four or five times a day. Other books I've recently enjoyed include "Sacred Rage" by Robin Wright (about Islamic Terrorism) "The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Nightime" by Mark Haddon & "Chocolat" by Joanne Harris.
sft42 - sorry about that, dunno why I thought it was you ... but thanks for the rest of the recommendations!
saffstar - yeah, it was you - I went back and had a look ... what a brilliant book, I'm loving it! Thanks, I'll check your other recommendations out
johntheplamf - yeah, any topic (don't want to limit myself to reading about drugs! ;-)
