Hi there,
My husband recently ordered some CDs and they have been delivered to an old address. We have been trying to locate the phone number of the old address so we can phone the people up and ask them to possibly post them onto us. However, we only know the address, not the people's surname or any other information. Is there any way we can find out the surname and therefore the phone number?
Thanks
I would have recommended b4u Search but they have been forced to close down.
If the new people have only been there a few months it is likely they are not on the electoral roll and most people tick the box to prevent their details showing on internet sites and so on in any case.
Like me, they may not have a telephone or are ex-directory.
Call round. But even better to contact the company and explain your error.
If the new occupiers own the house, you can find out their name by downloading the title document from the land registry, but it will cost you 3: http://www.landregisteronline.gov.uk/
However, 48% of Uk residential numbers are ex-directory, so there's a good chance that the number isn't listed anyway.
Did you get on well with your neighbours at your last address? If so, why not phone one of them up and ask them to call at your old address?
