Where can I buy a flat cap online, or in Manchester or Bury town centres? I'm not looking for a traditional one, well, it's traditional shape, but I'd like a black one, just because it looks more youthful and I don't want to look like a scally wearing burberry? (Yes I'm a teenager)

Try a traditional gentlemen's outfitter. Is Halon Menswear at the top of Oxford Road still trading? Failing that, just go anywhere that your grandad would shop.

Doesn't matter what colour- a kid in a flat cap will ALWAYS look like a thieving toe-rag.

Halon is closing down - indeed I believe it may have done so this weekend. There's a similar - though possibly more expensive shop - in Princess Street near the Town Hall, just down from the Stationery Office shop.

Try Yorkshire. although I believe wearing a flat cap will lead to keeping pigeons and greyhounds and eating mushy peas LOL
