Canal Street in Chinatown is great for womens accessories, just don't go in the evening time. For cheap designer handbags/accessories, take a trip to Century 21 in the world trade centre

Century 21 is absolutely fantastic. Strictly it's not "in the World Trade Center" but is on the eastern boundary of the "Ground Zero" site. Check out http://www.c21stores.com/
