London Dungeon?
12 Answers
Going to London at the weekend and thinking of going to the London Dungeon. Has anyone been? What did you think?
Also have found cheap tickets online but they aren't fast track, does anyone know if the queue will be big early afternoon?
Cheers!

It shouldn't be too bad. Though I would still recommend the fast track. There's a kind of holding area where you can look around exhibits before you go through to the main show and tour. But it's not entertaining enough to keep you for a long time.
As for the Dungeon, the tour is brilliant. It's quite scary and also quite funny. I won't give away any of the surprises, but it's definitely one of the better London attractions. I believe it's also been added to since I was last there.

I am surprised Uncle Raymondo didn';t mention this!!!
About 10-15 mins form Tooley Street (walk down Tower Bridge Road) you will find the best pie and mash shop in the whole of London Town, called Manzes.
Well worth a visit

i went last week before last, there was no queue to get in and we waited about 20 mins for the tour to start but that was mid week and not school holiday. The 2 for 1 tickets from network rail website are well worth using even if it does mean you cant fast track as personally i think the discounted price is far nearer true value for money than the inflated normal entry fee.It takes between 1&1/2 to 2 hours to go round and is good fun,the hangman ride at the end is now in operation ( subject of course to no unavoidable circumstansces on the day) but the boat ride was not working on either of my visits during the last year so is probably no longer a feature of the tour.
