This hotel is VERY close to the NEC. Walking distance (if you fancy a longish stroll) or a 2 minute drive.
Note the description on this hotel says it is in the grounds of the NEC which is not quite true, it is just outside them.

Here is a map of the NEC grounds showing the 4 hotels I have listed above (J, K, L ,M ).
I think they are the 4 nearest to the NEC.
The first I listed, Metropole, is J on the map.
The second I listed, Express Holiday Inn, is K on the map.
The third I listed, Crowne plaza, is M on the map.
The fourth I listed, Premier, is L on the map.

Many people who visit the NEC come in the front entrance (shown left on the map above near the big roundabout) but this can get very crowded during busy times.
If you look carefuly at the map you can see an entrance in the bottom right (near hotel K).
This entrance is not used very much and is a great way of getting in and out of the NEC and avoiding the crowds.
In fact if you stay at hotel K (or indeed L) you can nip in and out of the NEC via this entrance straight to your hotel.
In fact I live locally and always enter and leave the NEC via this back entrance.
If you come out of the NEC and turn left, go past hotel K, continue in a big loop going left, past the airport, you come out near the top of that picture on the A45.
Great way to miss the crowds.
