She gets more bad press than most criminals! Why shouldn't she get money??? If perfect Paul was a decent man, he would have wanted to give her money, he's got more than he will even need!

I'd love to see what those who shun her would do if they were in her position, probably divorce quietly with no settlement and get a 9-5 job whilst still keeping her daughter in the latest designer!

She does rant, but with all the press and public against her, I would say she's desperate to be understood!

But if you think about it, she hasn't ACTUALLY done anything wrong that should warent such hate!

To be honest, I really don't know why they bothered getting divorced in the first place.
I don't like either of them, only my opinion, but I think they deserve each other. They should have stayed together.

She does herself no favours when she rants on general tv that her daughter ONLY gets 35.000 a year and can't travel a-class . meaning she will have to pay for her .

I'm with Andrea on this one, I really don't understand why everyone hates her so much.

Yes, I agree she can be annoying and no, I don't want to hear about their divorce all the flipping time, but I don't think she deserves the kind of hatred she is receiving. If I was her I'd feel so frustrated at the whole situation. I think she has issues, she probably can't trust many people but at the end of the day, we only know what we are fed in the papers and who knows who Paul has in his pocket, Lord knows he can afford the best PR adn legal team in the business.

Although I think the comment she made about only getting �35k for Beatrice was thoughtless, paricularly because that figure alone is more that our joint household income! But I can see where she is coming from, Beatrice is used to a lifestyle and I would have thought that Paul would have given more towards Beatrice and less to Heather. Heather does masses and masses of charity work, but because she married a British institution she will be hated forever.

Reason I say that is because we are led to believe that Sir Paul is a decent man. He loved Heather once, surely he can't hate her so much.

I'm not saying that she's a brilliant person, she does rant and say silly things, but at the end of the day, I think she has a lot on her plate considering how much people dislike her.

She's only guilty of marrying someone extreemly famous, she didn't DO anything hateful to him!

If we are to believe what the papers say, then we have to have 'fair play' and belive some of the things Paul has 'supposedly' done to be hateful to her!

If we believed everything that was reported then we'd believe that Sir Paul is a spiteful, abusive, nasty, tight-fisted alcoholic who wants to send his daughter to state school because he is stingey as opposed to the fact the he wants her to keep her feet on the ground.

I think the reason why the public has taken against Heather is threefold.

1. You never go up against a Beatle. You will always lose. There are still millions of people for whom a Beatle can do no wrong.

2. Linda Mccartney. She became deified when she died. Heather compares badly against a woman who people grew to love (despite the fact that she was held in low esteem for much of her life, ironically).

3. People believe that Heather Mills is a money-grabbing fantasist liar. Whether this is true or not, that is her public image.

Those three things combined go against her.

If she rescued an entire infants school from a burning building, rather than hailing her as a hero, people would suspect she'd started the fire.

I agree, she is disliked for many a reason and not all true or deserved. And being the other half of a Beetle has probably been against her from the start.

I believed most of what I read until I saw that most stories were retracted by the press, but that went under the radar!

Didnt he have most of this money before he married her? Why would he want to give it away to her? What's she done to deserve it?

She needs to go away for a while and keep a low profile. It seems every time she opens her mouth she drops herself further in it. Surely she's got enough money now to shut her up for a while?

I don't think he should give her what he earned from before he was married and from what I can gather, she hasn't asked for that either.

He's given her 6% - thats not much compared to their lifestyle and isn't going to dent his fortune.

It sound like a lot because it is to us, but they live in a different world compared to us! But if I divorced my husband, in our lifestyle, I couldn't live off 6% myself and I work!
