Hi Polly1
I don't know a lot about Scotland, but I guess you are talking about the area which is dominated by Glasgow? Obviously you can have a 'city-break' but that might not suit everyone, but I believe there are easily accessible places such as Oban, Loch Lomond in the area, which might be able to offer something for everyone. try googling west/central scotland and you might get a tourist information website which should be very useful for your plans. Good luck with it and whatever you decide to do make sure you enjoy it!
My daughter organised a 'treasure hunt' around the city of Southampton, with the clues all relating to the old buildings and historical sites in the city. The 'treasure' was a week-end break for two in France, donated by a ferry company. It was a huge success and she is now trying to organise something on an annual basis. She also organises Christmas events and when it was the Euro 2004 Final she managed to book the members club at Southampton FC complete with large projector screen so the staff could enjoy the football and have a social occasion as well. It all helps with team building, because people relax and enjoy each others' company in a totally different environment.
Have fun!
