Has the smoking ban affected people letting out cottages do you think. And how infuriating that only one or two sites let you search with smoking allowed as an option. Thats the price for being a social pariah i guess.

Over recent years more and more holiday accommodation has become non-smoking voluntarily - for one thing it helps keep the insurance down and reduces the need for frequent decorating, Also cleaning is a a lot easier.

Nothing to stop you smoking outside though. :)

Where do you want to go????
Rhos cottages in north wales allows smoking still and they are all 5 star and beautiful.

Cottages are not deemed to be public under the act so its upto the owners if they allow smoking but I think most of them think they will be easier to rent smoke free.

As a smoker i can understand but surely there must be a market for us smokers too????
