Family Holiday in France
My daughter has asked to go to France on holiday this year as she wants to practice her French. Though I don't mind going to the coast, I had a lot of holidays in the Vendee as a child and would like to see a different part of France. I fancy Eastern France but want a reasonable climate as we will be camping and I'm worried there won't be much for the kids. They're happy with a decent pool on a camp site, but is there much for kids in that part of the country? If not, ant suggestions for other parts of France please? I don't want to have to drive for more than about 6 hours from a ferry port.

Do most of your driving in the UK, and head to Plymouth. Take the Brittany Ferries service to Santander:

You're then less than 3 hours drive from Biarritz. Stay here

and explore the Cte Basque.
