What is the name of this band??

Not a lot of info I'm afraid. I know that they are no longer around and that one of the members (not the singer) started a new band in early 2000's - I'm pretty sure the other band had already split up.
I think the singer in the band was called / nicknamed Tiny (not Tiny Tim) and their songs were long. A couple of their most well known ones are around 8 mins and at least one of their albums has 2 discs as one of the songs was nearer 45 mins in length!
Their music was indie / rock, certainly guitar based, and I have absolutely no idea what they were called. Anyone??
