Amsterdam smoking ban

I'm confused. Some people have said its a ban on tabacco not cannabis, others have said all.

Have they banned smoking in the coffee shops?

It is the banning of smoking tobacco. Smoking cannabis is still "acceptable" so long as tobacco is not mixed in with it, so no spliffs then!!

Its OK to smoke cannabis in the cafes but not on the street.

You cant smoke cigarettes in the cafes but its OK on the streets.

The mind boggles.

what delboy said. Theres no ban on smoking cannabis just tobacco. I think I read that the cafes have sectioned off bits for smoking weed.
