I have just finished watching an edition of Extreme Makeover UK and at the end, their was a message that said Julie Walker, sadly departed 26th November 2007.

I'm not being morbid but it made me feel very very sad after all she went through to have a better quality of life. Does anyone know what happened to her?

I have been trying to find that out. It was a sad end to the programme. She looked great as well She was I think from Durham? Google is not helping me this time. Anyone help please?

Julie passed due to Cancer, she filmed this episode months before she knew she was ill. She is missed dearly by many..

julie was diagnosed with terminal cancer in feb o7, 6 months after her makeover and sadly passed away in nov 07. it was decided that the show would still be aired, it was one of the happiest moments in her life;

we miss and love her always

just saw this episode 8/9/11 and this woman looked fabulous.to my considerable sadness the episode ended with the word,julie walker sadly departed nov 07.i want her family to know that even now,nearly 4 years later,i was shocked by the news that cancer took her life.hopefully,she was as happy as she could have been before it did.goodnight,angel.R.I.P.my thoughts are with her family.

Rip Julie you were beautiful inside and out before and after the make over .Lost our Mum to cancer so know how devastating it is hope your family is ok ,its tough this time of year being without your lost loved one thinking of you all xxCat
