Humid weather

how do you surive in humid weather? I'm going italy soon and need to know what to buy and what clothes to wear!!
any help or advice?

Just wear clothes that deflect the heat. It helps. Drink plenty of water and try to keep in the shade if you can. Don't do your shopping or whatever in the hottest part of the day, and most of all, don't over exert yourself. Have a great time!

It's not particularly humid in Italy - it's just hot.

Natural materials such as cotton and linen are essential so make sure all your underwear is cotton only. Don't wear clothes that are too tight.

If you burn easily, long trousers or skirts and tops with long sleeves will be excellent - there are some lovely floaty clothes that would be perfect.

Take several pairs of sandals - your feet will get hot and frequent sandal changes will help avoid blisters.
Sunglasses are a must.

don;'t forget a big floppy hat - scalp burn along your hairline - not nice!

As Ethel says SKA it's not really humid in Italy , nice and warm though . Just remember your sun block and a hat if you can , or keep to the shade if you are going to be walking a lot or standing in sun for long , you don't want to spoil your time there with sore sunburn.
