I quite agree with the comments made, having teenage girls myself, who are slightly older than the girl mentioned I would be disgusted, & they would not be going down this route.
I dont understand how society seems to accept this situation on teenage pregnancys, & regards it as one of those things because the youth of today has changed.
Perhaps parental responsibility should mean just that.
But can I mention, that neither family are on benefits, (dont know what happens when she has the baby) and this lifestyle is not passed down from previous generations on the girls side, not the case on his side, as mentioned his sister in similar situation at this age. (A complete shock for the girls family that she was having a sexual relationship, definately not what had been expected of her as she was to go to university, and even at her young age with her grades this was the path she WAS to be taking, NOT the same future had been mapped out for him)
As for contraception she supposedly forgot to take it, not a good answer, old enough to act this way, then old enough to take precautions on both sides.
