Rogue Restaurants

Did anyone else watch this last week? I know I shouldn't be watching programmes like this but I have a curious streak in me (probably why I like cats).
Anyway, it was horrific. I couldn't believe what I saw going on in the kitchen of an Indian restaurant in East London. They advertised on their menu that the chef had travelled extensively through Bangladesh, India, Pakistan etc and had learn't many recipes. The secret filming however showed that he was using a large pot of Pataks curry paste!!! Lol
There was also a guy blowing his nose into a sink and washing his feet in it! I nearly had a very unpleasant chundering moment.

A restaurant in my town put rubbish out back that attracted stray cats who savaged for scaps, a problem for the restaurant but turned this to thier profitable advantage and soon the cats found themselves being served up for dinner.
I like cats but not for dinner.
Some places that make ready meals are just as discusting. And if they are not, the staff are and spit in the food..

That sounds horrible! But, it is not going to stop me eating Bangalore King Prawn phall at The Ahmad in Wimbledon, nor picking up a delicious Vegetable Curry from the little Kuku cook-chill takeaway just down from Thornton Heath ponds. They know me now and always have chopped green chilli ready to sprinkle over it. Then a gentle cycle ride home through the cemetery. Bliss.
