Person who is liable...is not accepting liability!!!
3 Answers
Driving home from work on Sunday, some idiot cut across two lanes to enter the lane I was in and scraped the side of my car.
We swapped insurance details, and today I have discovered that my insurance company have contacted his, and he is not accepting liability! He's saying it was my fault!! I didnt cut across 2 lanes! Problem is, he had 3 witnesses in the car, and I had none. I'm going to check if there is CCTV along that road, but I'm not hopeful.
Now my insurance company wont do anything, and although I'm 100% up for fighting this til' the bitter end, I'm worried that I'm going to end up losing this fight.
He must be a complete idiot to try and blame me, as if it had of been me, he'd have damage on the opposite side of the car. My car is more damaged than his, so I'm wondering if this might go against me?
I called the number he gave to speak to him, all I got was abuse from his Mum (?) telling me not to call her son a liar...well sorry love, he is!
I'm so angry right now. Any advice as to how this is gonna go? Anything would be greatly appreciated.

Did you take any photos at the scene. After something similar happened to me I always carry a camera now in the car.
Have you sent a claim to your insurance company with a diagram of what happened? I would imagine, from what youve said, that the damage would show who hit who.

Thanks Twenty20, the witness thing has put my mind at rest a bit.
Photos were taken at the scene, and insurance company have said that they will write to Bluewater Security Office (Exiting Bluewater was where the accident happened) and ask if they could review CCTV footage.
I hope they have some footage, that'll shut him and his mother up.
