motorola C140 mobile phone

just been loaned a motorola C140 phone.really dont like this phone.when someone sends me a message the senders name doesnt not appear just the phone number.how do i change it so so senders name appears with message.

Have you got their number in your book? Usually, unless the name is known from a number in your book, it will show as just a number on most phones. Dunno if their is anything special about this model but it sounds odd that it won't do that if the number is in there.
