Just read the posts 'Single for life or what'. My Mum and Dad got married in 1952 and are still together!!! When they've been asked how they've managed it, they replied 'With difficulty!!' Even I'm not sure how they've done it, as to quote my 17yr old son..'Granny is good at 2 things...cooking and NAGGING!!'

My grandparents have been together for 60 years and counting. I'm also not sure how they have done it... they treat each other really badly. But I guess they are used to it by now.
last week my grandparents celebrated 63 years
my grandparents are at 66 years and counting. how did they manage? Well luckily for Grandpa, he's deaf in one ear and has only partial hearing in the other!!!
I went to a party to celebrate my great-grandparents' 70th wedding anniversary: there were plenty of us there, as you can imagine. My great-grandmother, being born on 29th Feb, was in her early 20s at the time!
My dear old Mum & Dad were married for 63 years, when Dad died. Mum missed him so much, she died of a broken heart only 20 months later.
My Nan was one of ten children but only 5 of them survived to get married. But all five marriages lasted at least 50 years with one of two now in the early sixties!
