qualifications needed for a career in forensics?
5 Answers
my daughter who is 14 has recently shown an interest in a career in forensics - this without EVER watching an episode of CSI !! - she is also showing interest in criminal psychology. What A level subjects do you think she will need to aim for? She is currently taking her GCSE science a year early, and will be sitting a GSCE in advanced science next year with the rest of her subjects, which are , English, Welsh , Maths, I.T, History , French and Art.

Alternatively, she'd need 4 GCSE's A-C, in biology, chemistry, English and maths, plus an A Level in chemistry or biology, which could lead to her being accepted as an assistant forensic scientist with an opportunity to gain further qualifications.
