I thought R'n'B was ribs and burgers

In my days it used to be Rhythm and Blues, but I believe it now stands for Rhythm and Bass (base!). To me it epitomises the Stones, but now it sounds like one long drawl such as Witney Houston's new style and what Posh Spice attempts to do badly. Getting very old, I fear ......
