I've often seen references, here on AB, to Andy-Hughes (who's still around here at times) being involved in getting AB off the ground. So, presumably he was among the first to post on AB.

yes its true its Andy-Hughes. He was a volunteer who answered everyones questions when AB first started. Personally I think he should have been paid well for it.

Hi it's Andy here, my normal username is not functioning for some unknown reason. Actually I wasn't the first to post, but was the first to answer. I think the question was about music, which I replied to with 3 or 4 lines. It was all voluntary then, but I did get paid expenses. There has been some massive changes to AB since then, the site runs a lot more smoothly and there is an excellent editor in charge.
