This is an extract from Nelly Richards book called ' Cultural Residues'. My girlfriend always cites this as how she sees love. I do not fully understand it. Is anyone familiar with this? Writers, such as your example, view thenselves as culturally elitie and believe they enhance their self-esteem by being verbose to the extreme. As already stated, they really don't have much to say and use a lot of multi-syllabic words to prove that point...
