John Travoltas son
His son Jett died at the age of 16 last night after suffering a seizure and a head injury as a direct result of the seizure.
We all have our crosses to bear but it doesnt matter whether celeb or joe soap -I cant help but feel so desperately for the loss they are enduring.
Doesnt half bring your life sharply back into focus -eh?
Maybe because my daughter suffered seizures for years and I know what its like to 'live' with them but thankfully she is very much alive and kicking and now seizure free.

One of my sisters used to have fits, but I'm glad to say I was too young to remember her actually having them, as it must have been awful for her & for my parents to deal with.
Thankfully, she eventually grew out of having them.

Well,(according to the Daily telegraph) there is now a suggestion at Travolta's son was Autisitic, and did not suffer from Kawasaki after all.
However,Scientology does not recognise Autism as a conditon that is medically treatable(they believe it is spritually healable).
So it is suggested that his son was treated for a condition he did not have, that was "acceptable" to Scirntology, when all along he had another condition.
He may also have been given drugs for Kawasaki that did not help the Autism at all, in fact may have aggravated it.

I don't really think speculating helps anyone, Mr V. I just feel really sorry for them. It is easy for people to cast opinions, whether it is their own or those of the daily paper- all I know is they must be devastated as any parents would be if they had lost a poorly child.
My heart goes out to them.
