Hello

What kind of information do I need to find out about a person's standards, beliefs and ethics? How is this done?

It is part of my study - I have to identify 3 people who I admire, and I have to 'use information' about them to describe their standards, beliefs and ethics

The simple answer is to read about them!

If you picked someone like Nelson Mandela, you could refer to his days as a terrorist, believing the cause to be more important than the law (law that most people would say was unacceptable), his time in prison (20+ years without looking it up) and his release to become one of the most respected statesmen of modern times and the father of the new South Africa.

A person's standards, beliefs and ethics are not determined by what they say, but rather by what they do.  Otherwise all politicians would be ethical role models.  Mandela risked his life for what he believed in, had a large part stolen away from him and still could talk about forgiveness and go a long way towards uniting a divided nation.
