He may have locked his bedroom door due to emotional insecurities that stemmed from abuse he suffered in childhood at the hands of his own father...
He had a very infantile mind and was probably not able to communicate with people on all levels. During what was surely an oft-terrifying childhood, he would have likely shared a bed with at least a couple of his siblings. They would have likely taken refuge together in the aftermath of a beating from his father. It could have been the only time he ever felt safe during his young years, and so was therefore the one thing from his childhood that he was unable to relinquish.....
I'm not saying that Jacko was innocent or guiltY - I WASN'T THERE, SO I DON'T KNOW - but it is possible that he paid Chandler money to stay quiet about other potentially career-wrecking secrets he didn't want divuldged, i.e. addiction to prescription drugs...
And do you remember just a few weeks ago how many people lambasted the Beachy Head parents, who had seeminly jumped to their deaths with their son in their arms, killing him in the process? Wrong again !!
