First of all I posted this in how it works first but I think it was the wrong place so I am now posting here
When calling a UK phone number from abroad you dial +44 then omit the first zero as in
+44 (0) 1234 987654 Can anybody tell me if this is the case when ringing a UK registered mobile for example would a mobile with the number 07654 1234567 become +44 7654 1234567 omitting the first zero.
Your suggested way of calling a UK mobile is correct if you're calling from an overseas landline or from a mobile phone registered in an overseas country. However, if you were to call from a UK-registered mobile (while abroad) you would simply dial the normal number.
