Good Afternoon Everyone.

I thought I would just pop in to share some good news:

I managed to get a table at the restaurant I'm heading out to this weekend. I intend to meet up with some old friends from university. Managed to get a good table too. I know you'll all be happy for me.

In other, less interesting news, the database and site infrastructure updates went well. We're actually quite close to giving you all something cool. It isn't the AB Staff calender though you've all been waiting for however, sorry to disappoint!

And finally, I have collected together a few of the dreaded Allotment "jokes" and collated them together for posterity. Please be warn, the content is shocking:

What is evening planning for the weekend?

All the best

What are you going to do with the ZX81 and the copy of Access?
Me and the Ginger bloke are going to see Green Zone tomorrow. A nice lunch first and a pub crawl home....and maybe a visit to Ann Summers on the way :-) (I blame Red)
Have a lovely weekend, Spare Ed.

I am off to a Naming Day on sunday. We are hoping for good weather so if you see some please send it suffolk way. I am looking forward to celebrating with my 5 guidechildren, their family and friends.

The rest of the weekend will no doubt involve the mundane tasks like food shopping, cleaning and fighting with the kids (and Mr CRX) over the TV remote :)

No investigating this weekend :(
ummmm, its not my fault that you and Ginger one are mucky pups :)
lol...I showed him the thread. He's up for it :-)))

Is it wrong to give your kids sleeping pills???
not on a saturday night :)

Oh Gromit, you have no idea the power at our fingertips.

Green Zone sounded really good in Mark Kermode's review last week. It sounds like a good way to spend a weekend Ummm.

Should have had it set up in Cambridgeshire. It is always sunny in Cambridgeshire Red. Does everyone get a go at naming it? Don't worry about the TV remote, there is always AB - or do you do both?

My youngest doesn't like us having 'alone time'
"My youngest doesn't like us having 'alone time'"

He obviously wants to remain the youngest :)
Ed, Im a woman, i can have the remote, wash up and come on AB!

i belive we do all get a go at naming him, Im going with Egbert Nobacon :)
lol Chuck...you might be right.
So what are you having - and is this going on expenses?!!!
You can't claim 'entertainment' on expenses anymore.....Ed will have to cough up himself.

Japanese: http://www.little-tokyo.co.uk/ They're really excellent. Highly recommended.

Can you do one for me please Red: Percivil Hupleberry

All the best,

Spare Ed
I went to this one for my birthday....absolutely brilliant. The chef threw our bowls of rice at us....they span in the air and not a grain spilt.

That looks like a good bet Umm. May have to try it out. I will let you know the verdict. I do like a little bit of theatre.

The Little Tokyo website doesn't do the food justice.

All the best,

Spare Ed
oh yes, the teppanyaki restaurants often put on a great show.
We have got a kid free weekend... yippee, the boys are spending the weekend with their dad (poor things).. lol.

Just dont know what to do with our free time now though, its not very often we have it so havent planned to do anything, local pub for dinner tonight i would have thought though.

Its my boys 18th next week so its going to be a busy weekend next wk..

What are you/What is he doing for it?

Ah, to be 18 again...

Spare Ed
Hi ED, spent a whole heap of money on a big bash for him - disco, bar, food... hundreds of his teenage mates and about 6 tents in the back garden so they can all crash out instead of going home and waking parents and me cooking sunday brunch breakfasts the following day.

Ah well, its another excuse to go out and buy myself some "nice" to wear lol...
