Song played on Kiss FM the whole time at the moment

It is familiar as a dance remix of an old song, the main chorus is something like "wishing on a star to take me to baby yeh"

Can anyone help, who does the remix and who sings the original.

OK i'm not sure if this is right but i think the remix is by Cabin Crew or maybe i heard wrong, and i don't know who does the original. I hear it all the time too.

The original is Boy Meets Girl 'Waiting for a star to fall'

'Arms baby yeah' being the bit that's sampled / looped.

The track in question in almost certainly "In My Arms" by Mylo, unless someone else is using the same loop.  bobbyx is correct, the sample is from the Boy Meets Girl song.

This is a remix of an 80s song "waiting for a Star to Fall". Remixed by Cabin crew but currently only available on 12" vinyl.

If you typw "cabin Crew Waiting for a star to fall" there are several links and u can download an mp3 of it.
