has anyone any thoughts about metal sheds? We are considering one for our allotment as Argos has a good deal on at the moment. I did post this on the Home and Garden section yesterday and had a reply about condensation-------hadn't thought about that one!! I must say it has rather put us off! Any other comments?

Someone asked about this yesterday or day before.
Problem with condensation ..
and as far as I am concerned ... They do not fit in traditionally, like timber. They are also damn noisy (or will be when a few years old)
Any more comments?.....Yes, don`t get one, you`ll regret it, stick to a strong timber one and give it a good soaking with wood preserver.

many thanks to both of you! All very helpful.
only advantage, harder for vandals to damage, when I had an allotment it was not uncommon for idiots to invade in the night and set light to the wooden ones or smash them to bits Depends on the area and quality of the site fencing... Even with a wooden shed I'd still invest in some sort of metal trunk/box to store anything you wouldn't want to go walkies or be destroyed ....fixed to a concrete stake cemented into the ground and alarmed if possible...
Blimey .. Rowan! ...

Do you garden in Moss-side?!
