Orange Marches in England

There were a few posts recently regarding the July marching season in Northern Ireland and the resulting riots.

Does anyone know if Orange Lodge marches still take place in England and Scotland?

I remember them in Liverpool as a kid in the 60s and 70s and I think they also marched in Glasgow.

Does this still happen? And if so, is there any trouble?

I seem to recall a bit of aggro at the marches I remember.

there is still marches in Scotland, there was one here in Perth 2 weeks ago, well a few guys with flutes and drums followed by some people in orange sashes and a pile of people with hun scarves on..............good stuff...............................not

It was classed a family day out Zeuhl but the yob element of today see it as a chance to throw missiles at the Authorities, I think anywhere where you have a strong Irish Community such as Liverpool and Glasgow, will still have them

The biggest Orange Lodge in England is in Liverpool Zeuhl and they march every Year on the 12th culminating in a visit to Southport afterwards for a Booze-up......

Fun! FUN!!!!...I lived in a village just outside of Southport for a matter of 15 years and the place of the day and night of the march and the next day was quite appalling.
Drunks making a complete ass of themselves, annoying peaceful residents and vomit in the shop doorways was dreadful. The following morning the rather select town of Southport resembled an inner city. Madness......total madness....... unnecessary and completely unacceptable.
